Session I – Chamber of Commerce: Budgeting and the Bottomline

Knowledge about budgeting and forecasting is imperative to determine smooth function of a chamber of commerce, as accurate forecasting leads to better financial management. Like any business, while running a chamber of commerce, one must account for resources and finance projects and programs. Budgeting is a tool to make sure the projects and programs meet their goals. In addition, a well-planned and developed fiscal policy should also be put in place.

Session II – Developing a compelling communication plan: Branding & Marketing

A compelling communications and marketing plan, allows a successful execution of communication and marketing efforts of a chamber that support the organization’s mission and vision, as well as evaluate the effectiveness of those efforts. This plan will ensure consistent and standardized themes, messages, tones, visuals and organization in all communication and marketing efforts, and it will assist in increasing overall awareness in the minds of the target audiences, consistently demonstrating the Chamber’s tremendous efforts to improve the economic environment. Learn how to develop a successful communication plan that provides a roadmap for the communication and marketing efforts that puts forth the branding of the chamber.
